So, I am preparing in September because I want to get this thing right. My first though was drinks. While everyone is coming in settling down, watching football, chatin' it up, I want no thirst in sight. So of course, I went to Pinterest. I found the most yummy and easy Thanksgiving style drink that everyone will love. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were secretly married Saturday in Chateau Miraval, France, their rep confirms!
The wedding took place in a small chapel. It was a nondenominational civil ceremony attended by friends and family- but she was not walked down the isle by her her father, John Voight. Her eldest sons Maddox and Pax walked her down the isle! Zahara and Vivienne threw petals. Shiloh and Knox were the ring bearers. Does that cover all of the kids? It wasn't a shotgun wedding- they did obtain a marriage license from a California judge prior to the ceremony. That judge also conducted the ceremony in France. Congratulations to the newly weds! Full story from the Associated Press. The most exciting performance at the MTV Video Music Awardsactually happened the next night — at the Emmys! “Weird Al” Yankovic performed a medley of television show theme songs and parodied the likes of Mad Men (“Jon Hamm’s never won an Emmy / who cares, he’s still Jon Freakin’ Hamm), Modern Family and Game of Thrones. Check out the performance below. like what you see? Have you heard about this new nail polish that can detect if your drink has been tampered with? I remember reading a story a while back that someone had invented a "stick" that you could dip into a drink and it will tell you if it was drugged. I thought that is a great idea, but it might a little weird to perform such a test without looking suspicious. "Don't mind me I'm going to dip this stick in here for a moment" or try the awkward turn and dip. But, college students Tyler Confrey-Maloney, Stephen Gray, Ankesh Madan and Tasso Von Windheim, who met studying at North Carolina State University, created something amazing. The polish — called “Undercover Colors” — will change shades if it becomes exposed to a drugged drink. Walk away from your drink at a party? Look away from your solo cup for a second? Simply dip your finger in the liquid. If the polish changes colors, you’ll know not to keep sipping. The four are raising money for a better prototype of Undercover Colors through a donations page. like what you see? Hey, that's my jam! Love how this little cutie perks up to her favorite song. Don't touch that dial Mom! like what you see?I came across a post on Facebook the other day, and there were many confused comments and I had to shake my head just a little. Publix (a grocery store chain) was being praised for being "not commiting word crimes since 1957" and the picture above was posted. I looked at it and was like, yeah, ok 10 items or fewer. Why was this a big deal? Because I am a grammar nerd. So, here is a quick grammar lesson. The reason why Publix was being praised was because of their use of the word fewer. Most groceries stores you see say "10 items or less" The word LESS being the difference here. Here's the deal: fewer is used when we can count the number of things; less is used when something can't be counted.
There now, go and use the word fewer correctly. Do you ever go on Pinterest and find the cutest outfit, you think ....that would be perfect for work, I'm going to buy it. Then, you click on the link and.... HOLY PRICE TAGS BATMAN, there is no way I'm paying that much, and then close the page and go eat some ice cream. Me too! Recently I have been trying to find the outfits myself cheaper. The internet is filled with a million shopping malls, and as a woman I vow to take full advantage of that. Here is one of my favorite summer outfits that I found: Cute! Right! And then I saw this: I was like..... I can, uh, afford, the bracelets, yup. So, on the verge on closing the computer and getting some ice cream, I got my Sherlock Holmes hat on and investigated instead.
